Giving back & clearing out…
I’m just returning from my first service trip with an organization that is close to my heart: Together We Can Change The World (TWCCTW). This non-profit empowers and educates impoverished people in Southeast Asia—making a real difference in their lives.
TWCCTW was started by my friends Jana Stanfield and Scott Friedman, with a vision to create awareness, raise funds, and celebrate children from vulnerable societies.
As a speaker, I was honored and grateful to be a part of this most recent trip—it was an incredible experience that I will never forget! Not only was it an opportunity to give back, but also a chance to learn and connect with other amazing speakers and humanitarians.
Not surprisingly, at each event I spoke with CEOs and other leaders about Calling BS on Busy and shared immediately actionable steps they can take to get an hour or more back into their often overloaded, stressful days.
I’ve included some of my favorite pictures from the trip for you here.
If you are able, you can use the link here to donate to TWCCTW. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those in need.
Want to give back to your own community, too? One of the easiest and fastest ways to help is to donate items you no longer need to a local charity.
Your gently used clothing, toys, and household items will stay in your area when you donate them to local organizations. They may be sold to raise funds for charitable purposes.
Plus, you’ll give yourself the gift of a less cluttered home and more peaceful environment.
If you’re not sure where to donate your items, check out this blog post. — it includes an expansive list of 22 organizations that accept donations of everything from eyeglasses to books!
I hope that this week has included your own opportunities to fill your heart and the hearts of others through service, generosity and selfless acts of kindness.
Here’s to more love and less stuff,
Andrew
