How you see it
How you look at it is pretty much how you'll see it. RASHEED OGUNLARU
What a great way to connect the dots between what we tell ourselves and how that influences what we see when we look at any situation.
It was Henry Ford who said, "Whether you think you can, or think you can't ... you're right."
So what do you see when you look at a challenge?
An adventure? A threat? Something to be avoided? Something to be untangled?
This concept turns the notion of seeing is believing on its ear. It's really looking is believing because even before we see it, we've looked at it.
So what are you seeing when you look at a pile of papers or a bunch of photos in a drawer or clothes on the floor?
An opportunity or an insurmountable problem?
Do you see the freedom on the other side or just the obstacle between you and liberation?
It's so important to remember that stuff is not alive.
It can't hurt you.
Well, unless there's broken glass or nails or something sharp in the pile
.Otherwise, your thinking is what is tripping you up every time you try to change.
So it's your thinking that needs to change.
Change your thinking and suddenly what used to be overwhelming or threatening or scary becomes a relatively painless puzzle.
All because of what you see when you look at something.
If you’re ready to let the stuff go and get your time and life back, but don’t know where to get started, Join our next 5-Day De-Stress Your Mess Challenge.
